Marcel Danesi (Ed.)
Marcel Danesi is Full Professor of Anthropology and Semiotics at the University of Toronto. He has published extensively in both linguistics and semitoics. His most recent book, The Semiotics of Emoji: The Rise of Visual Language in the Age of the Internet, has been nominated for several prizes. He is currently editor of International Journal of Semiotics and Visual Rhetoric.
