Zulkhair Mansurov
is a Doctor of Chemical Sciences. The area of scientific research is the study of the kinetics and mechanism of combustion of hydrocarbons and the structure of cold and sooty flames, the synthesis and study of nanocarbon materials for various functional purposes. He was the first to discover hydrogen atoms in cold hydrocarbon flames and established oscillatory regimes of temperature and concentration of radicals in cold flames of butane and hexane; a phenomenological model for explaining the oscillatory regime during oxidation is proposed.
