Zakia Rais
Zakia Rais
is a professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Science, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez. She obtained her PhD in catalysis and environment, Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah University, Morocco in addition to a State Engineering degree in Process Engineering, Mohammadia School of Engineering in Rabat, Morocco. She is an expert evaluator of projects for several national and international organizations and universities. She is a member of the National Council of the Sebou River Basin Agency. She has published 5 books, 10 book chapters and more than 123 scientific publications in national and international journals with an h-index of 16. She is also a member of the program committee of conferences and workshops. She is the leader of two national research projects and a member of several national and international projects. She has participated in more than 170 papers presented at national and international conferences. She has been invited to present her research at numerous international conferences. She is the creator and coordinator of several editions of the international congress “Waste Valorization for Sustainable Development” (V3D since 2014) and of the National Environmental Protection Day (JNPE since 2008). She has organized several scientific and awareness activities in partnership with external organizations. Prof. RAIS has also been selected as a reviewer for several international journals.
