Wasantha Rajapakshe
, an Associate Professor at the SLIIT Business School within the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), is not only a dedicated educator but also a passionate researcher. With a 35-year academic career, she has held various prestigious roles both internationally and locally. She has served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration at Jubail University College in Saudi Arabia and as Assistant Professor and Assistant Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at St. Theresa International University in Thailand. Additionally, she was an Adjunct Faculty member at Troy University USA (Thailand Programme) and a Senior Lecturer in Grade 1 at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura in Sri Lanka. Prof. Rajapakshe specializes in teaching Human Capital Management (HCM) and Strategic Management to both graduate and undergraduate students, actively supervising PhD, MBA, and BBA students at national and international universities. Her research interests in Human Capital Management (HCM), Organizational Behavior, and the human aspects of organizations, with a particular focus on public policy challenges, reflect her intellectual curiosity and commitment to addressing real-world issues.
