Vikas Sharma
Vikas Sharma
is a distinguished academician, researcher, and innovator in the field of hospitality and tourism management, with a specialized focus on culinary tourism, food innovation, sustainable hospitality practices, and regional gastronomy. He currently serves as an assistant professor at Subharti College of Hotel Management, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, India. His academic journey is marked by excellence, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Hotel Management from the Faculty of Management & Commerce, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, with a dissertation titled “Regional Cuisine of Braj: Documentation and Application in Tourism Promotion.” He also holds a Master’s degree in Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) from IGNOU, New Delhi, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Gwalior (affiliated with NCHMCT), further complemented by an MBA and certifications in computer applications and digital learning.
