Vijay Kumar Chechi
Vijay Chechi
is presently serving as Professor and Deputy Dean School of Education, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara has 21 years of experience in teacher education. His research is focused on Emotional Intelligence, Self-Regulated Learning strategies, Socially Disadvantaged Groups, Bullying, Teacher Self-Efficacy and effectiveness, Academic Monitoring, and Motivation. He has taught courses in Educational Research and Statistics, Measurement and Evaluation, Educational Technology, Pedagogy of Social Science, Educational Management, and Applications of SPSS. He has guided more than 70 dissertations and 10 Doctoral Theses. He has published 120 research papers in Journals and books, edited 3 books, and presented 35 papers in national and international conferences/seminars. He has remained in administrative positions and has been instrumental in successfully designing the curriculum, Organizing placements, examinations, academic counseling, accreditation, inspections, and lab development. He has organized nine conferences/Seminars and conducted workshops for students and faculty on SPSS application, the Use of Excel in Statistics, Construction, and Standardization, Constructivist-Based Lesson Planning, and NEP 2020. Along with this, he has acted as a resource person for various guest lectures and faculty development programs on various topics.
