V. Srinivasan earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from S.K.P Institute of Technology affiliated to Anna University, his master’s degree in CAD/CAM from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology and currently pursuing Ph. D in Aeronautical Engineering from Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology. Currently doing research in LiDAR (Light detection and Ranging) and other remote sensing and imaging sensors, its integration with UAVs. Obstacle avoidance and autonomous navigation systems in UAV using sensor fusion are his key areas for research.
