V. M. Gobinath
V. M. Gobinath
is a Professor and Head of the Innovation and Incubation centre at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai. He received his Master of Science (By Research) in the Department of Production Engineering at Anna University, Chennai, India. He obtained his PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at VIT University, Chennai Campus, India in 2018. He has completed a Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. His research interests include Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, Machine Learning, AI and IoT. He has more than 18 years of industry experience including Cummins and Renault Nissan. He also holds a patent, a few internal journals and MBA degree in Project management.
