Ufuk Bakan
, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in journalism from Ege University, İzmir, Türkiye, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor at İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Türkiye. Dr. Bakan's academic interests are diverse and interdisciplinary, encompassing 3D modeling, animation, communication design, and game studies. His 3D modeling and animation work focuses on creating visually compelling and technically sophisticated digital content, which has applications in various fields, including entertainment, education, and media. Dr. Bakan explores integrating visual and interactive elements in communication design to enhance information delivery and user engagement. His research in game studies investigates the cultural, educational, and psychological aspects of video games, examining their impact on society and potential as tools for learning and social interaction. As a scholar, Dr. Bakan is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in these areas through his research, teaching, and publications. His academic contributions enrich the understanding of digital media and design and inspire students and colleagues to explore the evolving landscape of technology and communication.
