Tuyen Tran
Tran Tuyen
is a research associate at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. His research focuses on tourist behavior, psychological experiences, and transformative tourism, with a particular emphasis on inner tourism as a pathway to enlightenment and humanistic practice. Through this lens, he explores how tourism can foster self-awareness, authentic happiness, and mindful living. With over 50 scholarly publications, his work contributes to advancing theoretical and empirical understandings of tourism as a medium for personal and societal transformation. Dr. Tuyen serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Social Sciences and Economics, as Associate Editor of the Critical Journal of Social Sciences, and on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology. He is also a regular peer reviewer for leading international journals, including Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, Information Systems Frontiers, Journal of Smart Tourism, and Studia Periegetica.
