Trupti Dandekar Humnekar
Dr.
Trupti Dandekar-Humnekar
is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 15 years of professional experience spanning academia and industry. She currently serves as an Associate Professor at CMS Business School, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore. An alumna of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, Dr. Dandekar-Humnekar holds a Ph.D. in Service Marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with an MBA in Marketing and HR, and a B.Sc. in Statistics. She is presently pursuing an M.A. in Psychology from IGNOU. Her research primarily focuses on service quality measurement, higher education marketing, digital transformation, consumer behavior, and the integration of emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and IoT into management practices. She has authored more than 30 national and international publications and has contributed extensively to curriculum development, corporate training, and academic innovation. A recognized academic innovator, she developed a 12-week, 4-credit MOOC titled “Marketing to the Bottom of the Pyramid” on the SWAYAM-IIMBx platform. She is also a co-inventor of 12 granted design patents and multiple filed patents spanning domains such as smart education, renewable energy, and wearable technology. In addition to serving as a reviewer for leading Emerald journals and the Spanish Journal of Marketing, she has contributed as an editor for the Vishwakarma Business Review (VBR) and actively participates as a resource person in FDPs under UGC and AICTE-ATAL. Her multidisciplinary expertise bridges marketing, technology, and innovation, making her a key contributor to the evolving landscape of management education and research in India and beyond.
