Toni Clayton
Toni Clayton
is the Executive Director at SNHU’s Global Campus, Dr. Toni Clayton leads the efforts of Academic Programs and Health Professions with a focus on organizational effectiveness and efficiency, creating effective partnerships, leading strategic change & initiatives, and cultivating engaging learner experiences. She serves as Vice-Chair of Global Campus IRB, is a Certified Professional Coach, Healthcare Economist, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Dr. Clayton embodies the principle that teamwork leads to results-oriented work groups that drive the organization to fulfill its mission of learner transformation. This work is reflected through the creation of the first healthcare microcredential developed in 2020 and the award-winning experiential-learning Higher Education and Real-World Training (HEaRT) model launched in 2018. Dr. Clayton earned her doctorate from Capella University, MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and bachelor’s from Indiana University. In 2023, Clayton was presented the Leadership Award by the Association of Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) for extraordinary contributions in leadership, theory, and practice in continuing higher education on a national level. She also received the 2022 WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) Award, 2021 ACHE Distinguished Non-Credit Program Award, 2021 D2L Excellence Award, 2020 University Professional and Continuing Education Association’s (UPCEA) Excellent in Engagement, and 2020 Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Effective Practice Award.
