Tom Okot
Tom Okot
is a Professor and Senior Researcher at Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (Costa Rica), where he serves as Chair of the Business School. With extensive experience, he specializes in business innovation, sustainable development, technology integration, and tourism economics. His research, published in international journals, has contributed to collaborations with academia, NGOs, and UN agencies. He has led programs in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, focusing on monitoring, evaluation, capacity- building, and public- private partnerships. He has managed multidisciplinary projects aimed at socioeconomic resilience and sustainable business practices. Before his current role, he held research and advisory positions with international NGOs, shaping policy frameworks. He is also an Advisory Board member of the Rhombus Journal, where he supports scholarly discussions on emerging business paradigms.
