Thi Van Anh Chu
Thi Van Anh Chu
currently lives in Sweden and holds a Master’s degree in TESOL from England. After returning to Vietnam from England, she spent two years as a lecturer and trainer at a national university, preparing and training future English teachers. Motivated by a desire to contribute to national development, her work emphasised Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) to design curricula and teach students of varying abilities. Pursuing a second Master’s in International and Comparative Education at Stockholm University, supported by the Swedish Institute Scholarship, allowed her to explore educational policy and English teaching practices across diverse settings. Her current role as an English mother tongue teacher in Stockholm, thanks to Omniglot AB, has offered practical insights into Sweden’s educational systems and the application of policy to classroom practices, particularly in mixed-ability contexts.
