Tamer Shamseldin
received the B.S. and M.S degrees in Electrical Engineering from MTC, EGYPT,and a Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Program “Geo-Electrical” between Geomatics at the Lyles school of Civil Engineeing and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA.His research interests includethe development of the system architecture for a LiDAR-based UAV and terrestrial mapping system, single and multi-LiDAR system calibration, Indoor LiDAR mapping system, Unmanned Systems in GNSS denied environment, IOT, and Artificial Intelligence. He has received numerous awards, including “Essam and Wendy Radwan Graduate Fellowship, Purdue University, 2017”, and 2018 Best Paper Award “Application of LiDAR and connected vehicle data to evaluate the impact of work zone geometry on freeway traffic operations”.
