Tamara Esquivel-Martín
Tamara Esquivel-Martín
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Specific Didactics (specializing in Science Education) at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). She holds a PhD in Education from UAM, a bachelor’s degree in health biology, and a master’s degree in high school and baccalaureate teacher training (with a specialty in biology and geology). She has taught at three Spanish universities. Her publications aim to enhance the teaching and learning of science in general, with a particular focus on biology. Her primary research interest lies in evaluating students' performance in modeling scientific concepts and in constructing arguments to solve real-world problems within the framework of the One Health approach, which integrates environmental, animal, and human health. She has participated in numerous innovation and research projects in Education, resulting in numerous presentations at national and international scientific conferences and events.
