Swati Dubey Mishra
, a Gold Medalist, holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Forensic Science from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.). She qualified the UGC-NET and was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship by the Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, later elevated to Senior Research Fellow. With nearly 16 years of academic, research, and administrative experience in Forensic Science, she currently serves as Associate Professor and Head, Shri Vaishnav Institute of Forensic Science, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV), Indore. She has guided four Ph.D. scholars (five ongoing) and contributed extensively through publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings. Actively engaged in academic exchange, she has participated in over 75 national and international conferences, including the 13th International Congress of the Indo-Pacific Association of Law Medicine and Science, Dhaka (2019). Awards & Recognitions to her credit include the Junior Scientist Award (2015), Shining Rotarian Award (2023), Atal Alankaran Award (2024), and Champion Change Award (2024). Dr. Mishra is a life member of multiple professional bodies such as ISCA, FSDS, IFS, and the Indian Society of Criminology. She serves on editorial and advisory boards of reputed forensic journals and is a reviewer for leading academic publications. Beyond academics, she is socially active as a Rotarian since 2022 and serving as Rotaract Chair (RY 2024–25) for District 3040 and editor of the Rotary Club of Indore Uptown’s bimonthly bulletin Unmesh.
