Suratman Dahlan
Suratman Dahlan
was born in Bumi Rahmat Village, South Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. He completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Education (S.Pd.) at Universitas Khairun, Ternate. He subsequently earned his Master of Education (M.Pd.) in English Language Education from the National Campus of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta. Funding from the LPDP scholarship, he completed his doctoral studies (Dr) in the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar. He is currently employed as a lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the English Language Education Study Program at Khairun University, Ternate. His academic interests include English grammar, translation, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He is also the author of several books, including Simple English Grammar (for Beginners, University Students, and General Readers), published by Andi Publisher, Yogyakarta, in 2017, and Establishment of a New Pedagogical Paradigm through Artificial Intelligence Tools, published by Deepublish, Yogyakarta, in 2025. In addition to writing books, he actively conducts research and publishes scholarly articles in reputable national and international journals. In international academic activities, he recently participated as a paper presenter at the 23rd AsiaTEFL International Conference, hosted by The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), held on 11–13 July 2025 in Hong Kong. Furthermore, on 13–14 December 2025, he was invited as a speaker at the International Conference on Innovation in Learning Instruction and Teacher Education (ILITE-4), organized by Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), Hanoi, Vietnam.
