Suraj Vitthaloo Atram
Suraj Atram
, is a Ph.D. graduate in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from The University of Sheffield, UK (2024). He holds an M.Sc. in the same field from Queen's University Belfast, UK (2018), and a B.E. in Biotechnology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, India (2016), graduating with First Class Distinction. His Ph.D. research focused on
’s oxidative stress response and CoA biosynthesis regulation, while his master’s project involved cloning transporter membrane protein genes from Escherichia coli. Suraj has expertise in molecular biology, protein engineering, bioinformatics, and microbiological techniques, with proficiency in tools like BLAST, Pymol, and GraphPad Prism. Fluent in English, Marathi, and Hindi, he has demonstrated leadership as Biotech Department Coordinator at JNEC Aurangabad and earned recognition as a runner-up in a poster presentation at Polyexplore 2013. Skilled in laboratory techniques like RT-PCR, protein purification, and genetic engineering, Suraj aims to contribute innovative research to a dynamic biotechnology team.
