Sumitra Roy
Sumitra Roy
is a seasoned HR professional and academic with over a decade of industry and teaching experience. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Global Institute of Business Studies in Bengaluru, having previously held the same position at the International School of Management Studies in Pune. Her corporate work includes key HR roles such as Manager-Recruitment at Eage Shopping Pvt Ltd and Assistant Manager-HR at Frankfinn Aviation Services. Dr. Roy holds a PhD in Management from Sri Satya Sai University of Technology & Medical Sciences, complemented by an MBA in HR and Marketing. Known for bridging theory with practice, she is also a researcher, case study author, and specialist in MOOCs and industry consultancy.
