Sri Novita Yanda
Sri Novita Yanda
is a master’s student in Educational Research, Evaluation, and Assessment at Northern Illinois University (NIU) and a Fulbright Scholar from Indonesia. Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to educational equity and innovation, particularly through the use of data-driven and technology-enhanced approaches to learning and assessment. Actively involved in research and collaborative projects, Sri focuses on how educational data and artificial intelligence can improve teaching and learning experiences while promoting fairness and inclusion. She is especially interested in exploring how AI can serve as a supportive tool, which is one that empowers educators and students rather than replaces human connection in educational settings. As an international student herself, Sri is deeply passionate about issues of belonging, adaptation, and well-being among students navigating new academic and cultural landscapes. Her work seeks to amplify the voices of underrepresented and global student populations, aiming to inform more inclusive and transformative practices in higher education.
