Sümeyya Çapuk
is a dedicated PhD candidate in Immunology and currently serves as a research assistant at the Faculty of Medicine. With a strong academic foundation in the health sciences, she earned her Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology, following a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Her academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of the human immune system and its interactions with microbial pathogens and infectious agent-induced cancer. Throughout her graduate studies, Sümeyya has focused on exploring the immunological mechanisms involved in infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and host-pathogen interactions. As a research assistant, she actively contributes to various laboratory projects, assisting in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific publication. Her interdisciplinary background allows her to approach research questions from both a molecular and clinical perspective, bridging the gap between bench science and medical application.
