Siti Fadziyah Mohamad Asri
Siti Fadziyah Mohamad Asri
is a senior medical lecturer since 2022 in the Anatomy & Physiology Department, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Medical Campus, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia. She graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia with a Medical Doctor degree and later from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a PhD (Anatomy). She teaches anatomy to medical and health sciences students at the undergraduate level, and she is passionate about anatomy education, especially musculoskeletal system and embryology. She is a former senior medical lecturer at the Department of Human Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang, Selangor since 2009. At Xiamen University Malaysia, she had been appointed as a part-time lecturer in Anatomy for 3 years. Currently, she has involved a lot in innovating technology-enhanced teaching & learning and has won various awards for innovation competitions in education. She writes publications on anatomy, bone metabolism, natural products, and anatomy education, among other topics. She is currently a member of several anatomy and education organisations, both locally and globally. She is also one of the permanent journal reviewers for the Malaysian Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences.
