Siriyama Kanthi Herath
Dr.
Siriyama Kanthi Herath
is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Clark Atlanta University's School of Business (CAU) and was a Renwick Faculty Fellow at New York University's Stern School of Business in 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce Honors and an MBA from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, as well as a Ph.D. and a Master of Commerce Honors in Accounting from the University of Wollongong in Australia. She worked at the University of Lynchburg, Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology before joining CAU. Dr. Herath worked in Australia at the University of Wollongong and Western Sydney University and in Sri Lanka at the University of Ruhuna and the University of Colombo. She has contributed over 70 publications to a diverse range of journals. She has published 17 book chapters with coauthors. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and served as the President and served as an Area Director from 2020 to 2021 in Georgia, United States. She possesses the TESOL Professional Certificate from Arizona State University. Dr. Herath is the Editor-In-Chief of the Asian Journal of Economics and Business and Global Journal of Accounting and Economy Research.
