Shunsuke Tanaka

Shunsuke Tanaka is a Ph.D. candidate in International Social Sciences at the University of Tokyo, where he earned his M.A. degree. His master’s thesis focused on how behavioral political science theories were received in early postwar Japanese political studies. Additionally, Tanaka conducts life history surveys on 1960s student movements to promote public awareness of efforts to preserve related historical materials. He received the Excellence Prize in the Chūō Kōron Student Essay Competition in 2017 and the Koizumi Shinzo Prize from Keio University in 2016.
