Shirli Ender Buyukbay
Shirli Ender Buyukbay
defines herself as a Co-Journeyer®—someone who walks alongside others to help them grow, find meaning, and lead fulfilling lives both personally and professionally. Over the past decade, she has worked as a university lecturer, trainer, mentor, and coach, with a focus on leadership, talent and performance development, organizational behavior, positive psychology, mindfulness, and work-life balance. Her guiding philosophies—Co-Journeying® (transformative approach that goes beyond mentoring and coaching), Employee Wholeness (a comprehensive model integrating well-being with performance), Mind the Positive (a strengths-based mindset focusing on strengths and possibilities), and live the life you love or love the life you live—are grounded in her PhD research titled Proposal of a New Well-Being Model: Employee Wholeness, which investigates the impact of holistic well-being on workplace performance. Shirli’s professional path began in English education and project management in educational leadership, and evolved into mentoring and training, always with a focus on empowering others and nurturing their potential. She currently serves as the Mentoring VP of PWN Barcelona. where she leads the chapter’s mentoring program and supports initiatives in youth leadership and gender equity through her involvement with various NGOs. She also contributes to several online platforms as a writer and thought partner, and is currently writing her upcoming book, Finding Wholeness through Work and Play—A Self-Leadership Manual for a Fulfilling Life, which brings together her lived experience and academic insights to guide readers toward a fulfilling life through meaningful work and joyful living. Shirli lives in Barcelona with her daughter, continuing to teach, write, and Co-Journey® with individuals and organizations committed to growth and meaningful change.
