Sarah R. Goldammer

Sarah R. Goldammer , MS, is a passionate lifelong learner and educator. There is nothing more exciting to her than the “aha” moment and supporting others to find theirs! She currently serves as the director of the Southern Illinois Professional Development Center—part of the Illinois Community College Board Professional Development Network. She is a certified trainer of Universal Design for Learning through CAST, Center for Applied Special Technologies. She has trained hundreds of individuals throughout her 23 years in adult education. She recently co-created the Illinois training, “Designing for Equity and Access for ALL Learners.'' This training elevates one of her passions by encouraging conversations and promoting classroom practices such as UDL that enhance inclusive and accessible actions to promote equity. She also promotes access and inclusion by supporting programs as they develop and implement transitional programs. She has coached 50+ programs, including creating Bridges and Integrated Education and Training (IET/ICAPS) programs, and has spearheaded the creation of multiple statewide contextualized curriculum.
