Sanobar Imam

Sanobar Imam is a master’s graduate in Water Policy and Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and is currently working as a research associate at CUTS International, Jaipur, in climate finance, climate change, environment, ecology, energy, and water verticals. She has co-authored a report titled “Decarbonization of Freight Sector in India”. She has also co-authored a briefing paper on public-private synergy in climate financing, addressing the climate finance gap to achieve climate mitigation and adaptation targets. She also wrote an opinion piece titled, “The Demand for Green Transportation Looming the Future of Miners in Congo”. She is currently a part of the global campaign titled “Innovative Finance for Climate and the Planet (IFCP),” where she is advocating for establishing a ‘Fund of Funds’ to leverage various non-governmental financial sources for addressing climate and biodiversity challenges, given their interconnection and common governance in many countries. She loves playing Badminton, watching Cricket, and writing.
