Sandhya Anilkumar
Ms.
Sandhya Anilkumar
has 30 years of experience spanning both industry and academia and is currently working as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology, M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management. She has made significant contributions to research and academic within the hospitality management sector. Has published a few research papers in journals and has also published relevant articles in professional magazines. She has presented her papers at national and international conferences, with a particular focus on sustainability in hospitality. Her editorial roles include being a member of the Regional (South) Editorial Board for students’ online journal and serving as the editor of the e-magazine of the Professional Housekeepers Association (PHA). She is part of the teams that has two patents registered. She has guided numerous group projects for final-year BHM graduates. In content development, she has created e-learning modules on management topics, developed teaching ideas (TIs) and assessment for learning (AFL) tools, and designed various activities such as case studies, worksheets, and concept maps. Additionally, she has developed assessment tools for evaluating student performance. She has organized seminars and workshops for students pursuing hospitality management.
