Saida Khalil
Saida Khalil
is a dynamic academic and finance professional, currently serving as the Director of the Bloomberg Financial Laboratory at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. With a diverse array of interests and expertise, Khalil is at the forefront of research and innovation in finance, specializing in green economy, circular economy, green finance, fintech, digitalization of finance, and gender studies. Khalil's academic journey culminated in the attainment of her Ph.D. in Finance from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of circular economy and practices. Her doctoral research laid the foundation for her subsequent exploration of cutting-edge topics in circular economy, positioning her as a thought leader in emerging fields such as circular economy and green economy. In addition to her role as Director of the Bloomberg Financial Laboratory, Khalil is a dedicated lecturer at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, where she imparts her knowledge and expertise to the next generation of finance and economic professionals. Her commitment to education and mentorship underscores her passion for fostering talent and driving positive change within the financial industry.
