Rupayan Roy
Rupayan Roy
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur. He holds a Ph.D. in Textile Engineering from IIT Delhi, with research focused on fibre orientation and nonwoven structures. His expertise includes technical textiles, composites, filtration, and IoT applications in apparel. He has extensive teaching and research experience, with numerous publications in reputed international journals and book chapters. Dr. Roy has received multiple fellowships and international travel grants, and actively contributes to advancing sustainable and high-performance textile technologies through research and academic engagement.
