Roba Gamal
Roba Gamal
is a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Valeo, I specialize in developing innovative machine learning solutions for the automotive industry. My work has resulted in four patents for a radar-based seat occupancy detection system using advanced deep learning techniques. Prior to Valeo, I worked as a Data Scientist at Orange Labs, where I led diverse projects in computer vision, NLP, and data analysis. My experience ranges from image classification and segmentation to building recommendation systems. I am currently a PhD candidate in Computer Engineering at Cairo University, holding Master's degrees from both Cairo University and Arizona State University. I also share my passion for the field as a Teaching Assistant at Zewail University. I am an AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer with strong proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, and C++.
