Revathi Boyina

Dr. B. Revathi is Head of the Department and Associate Professor of Pharmacology at QIS College of Pharmacy, Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, India. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) in 2021, investigating the neurotoxicity of food additives under the guidance of Dr. Sujatha, NIPER Hyderabad. She holds an M.Pharm in Pharmacology from Hindu College of Pharmacy, Guntur, affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University, where she graduated first in her class. With over 12 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Revathi has taught and trained undergraduate, postgraduate, and Pharm.D students in pharmacology, clinical pharmacokinetics, and related biomedical sciences. Her scholarly contributions include authorship of three textbooks, multiple book chapters, more than 20 research and review publications in Scopus and Web of Science–indexed journals, and six patents (including innovations in AI-based pharmaceutical devices, nanoformulations, and herbal compositions). She has also presented her work at international forums such as the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) congress. Her research spans marine-derived drugs, behavioral neurotoxicology, plant-derived antimicrobials, pharmacogenomics applications, and in silico pharmacology. Recognized as an active leader in professional bodies, she serves as State Women Forum Co-Coordinator for the Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA) and Zonal Coordinator for the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). A frequent speaker, evaluator, and convener for national and international scientific events, Dr. Revathi is committed to advancing pharmacy education, promoting evidence-based practice, and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists and researchers.
