Remi Thomas
is a dedicated academic and industry practitioner committed to preparing students for real-world challenges through experiential learning and strategic mentoring. With over 12 years of cross-functional expertise in Marketing, Business Development, Ed-Tech, Operations Management, Tourism, Communication, and Entrepreneurship, Remi brings a rich blend of industry insight and academic rigor to the classroom. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Vishwakarma University, he undertakes both academic and administrative roles while also contributing significantly to the university’s brand-building initiatives. He actively supports student success through his responsibilities as a Placement Coordinator and Student Coordinator, fostering opportunities for career readiness and leadership. Remi has published six research papers and has presented at numerous national and international conferences in the fields of Tourism and Management. His career trajectory includes the establishment of Distance Learning and Technical Training Centers, collaboration with universities, and setting up State Learning Centers—initiatives that have enabled him to mentor and positively impact the lives of over 1000 students across diverse domains and age groups. With a clear vision to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Remi continues to empower students by channeling their potential into purposeful and impactful careers.
