Rebeca Orsirys Sánchez Figuera is currently a Doctoral candidate in Social and Legal Sciences at King Juan Carlos University, Spain. She holds a Master's in Latin American Studies with a mention in International Relations from the Simón Bolívar Andean University, Ecuador, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the Central University of Venezuela. She is a Professor at the Bolivarian University of Ecuador.
