Ramratan Guru
Ramratan Guru
is an Assistant Professor Level III with the School of Design (SOD) at Mody University, India. His research interests include new materialism, sustainability in fashion and textiles; circular fashion; waste management; technical textile, green composite materials and ethical fashion. Dr. Ramratan has authored six books, published over 170 high-impact journal and conference papers, and contributed to more than 15 book chapters. He holds five granted patents and has filed more than 25 patent National and International applications. Dr. Ramratan has developed over eight innovative cellulosic fibers, earning recognition for his research in various countries, including Canada, the USA, Europe, the UK, and Brazil. He actively collaborates with universities across Brazil, Europe, Canada, the USA, and Asia. Currently, he is pursuing postdoctoral research at the School of Engineering, Department of Textile Engineering, University of Minho, Portugal. He has extensive publications in high impact journals as well as books and book chapters.
