Rachele Angela Bernardello
Rachele A. Bernardello
is Assistant Professor at the ICEA Department of the University of Padua, where she co-leads the LIM.lab – Laboratory of Information Modeling. She earned her PhD at the same university with a dissertation on the computational BIM management of infrastructure. Her research and teaching activities focus on the surveying and digital representation of the built environment, with particular attention to existing infrastructure and cultural heritage, promoting the use of open methods for the enhancement and management of the built environment. She teaches in the post graduate Program in Digital BIM Design at IUAV University of Venice. She is Chair of the Infrastructure Commission of buildingSMART Italy and a member of the Steering Committee of buildingSMART International. She collaborates works as a BIM Coordinator, providing consultancy and corporate training on digital processes, openBIM standards, and project virtualization.
