Dr.
Puvaneswaran Kunasekaran
, a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia, specializes in community-based and sustainable tourism. With a PhD in Community Development and Tourism from UPM, he has supervised numerous PhD scholars and delivered keynote speeches internationally. He serves as the Honorary Treasurer of the ASEAN Tourism Researchers Association and holds visiting positions at Strathclyde Business School, UK, and Lyceum of the Philippines University. His research and publications focus on indigenous tourism, sustainability, and community development in rural Malaysia.
