Pratham Prakash Parekh
Pratham Parekh
is presently serving as Assistant Professor (sociology) at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India. He has completed PhD from the Centre for Studies in Society and Development, School of Social Sciences, Central University of Gujarat. He has to his credit 18 research papers to his credit & 14 book chapters from reputed publishers. He has authored 3 scholarly acclaimed books. He has 7 years of experience working on the policy interventions with the Government of Gujarat. He has prepared and contributed to 16 policy intervention documents. He is appraised by the Government of Gujarat for his contribution in developing Outcome Budget, Gender Budget, Development Program, SDG monitoring system, and CM Dashboard. His interdisciplinary research interests range across sociological aspects related to public policy, governance, information technology, Data Analytics & visualization, Human Resources Management, Labor Laws, Social Policy, Gender & Women Studies, Mythology, Medical Sociology and Development Studies.
