Pradeep Thota
, working as Deputy Director in National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in international trade and vocational education policy. In this role, Pradeep is responsible for regulatory oversight, quality assurance, and policy development to strengthen India’s skill development ecosystem. Before joining NCVET, Pradeep worked as Manager at PEC Ltd, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, handling international trade operations, contract management, and stakeholder coordination across global markets. Pradeep's educational qualifications include B.Tech, MBA, PGDHRM, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. with a focus on vocational training policy and institutional effectiveness. With over a decade of experience combining strategic planning, public administration, policy formulation, and cross-sector collaboration. Pradeep is committed to nation-building through skill and trade development, positioning him as an expert in India's skilling ecosystem, trade landscape, and evidence-based research in these domains.
