Pooja Mehra
Pooja Mehra
with over two decades of academic experience, Pooja Mehra is an Assistant Professor at the Amity School of Economics, AUUP. She specializes in Statistics, Data Analysis, Mathematical Economics, Microeconomics, and Resource and Energy Economics. Her Ph.D. thesis explores the crucial links between farms and the food processing industry, especially regarding fruits and vegetables. Ms. Mehra’s research pursuits are diverse and impactful. She delves into fruits and vegetable processing, water management, and the sustainable development of resources. Her innovative work also spans digital healthcare, electric vehicles, agricultural diversification, and sustainable farming practices. Her prolific academic output includes 9 research papers, 10 book chapters, and hold a design patent, marking her significant contributions to both theoretical and applied economics. Ms. Mehra is passionate about creating sustainable solutions to modern economic and environmental challenges, aiming to benefit communities, industries, and ecosystems through her work.
