Paul J. John
J John Paul
completed his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (2022). He received his Master of Engineering from PSG College of Technology (2009) and a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University (2005). His research interests are in the field of sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) empowering Engineering solutions through smart technologies concerning product development in the fields of Smart Agriculture, Smart Healthcare and Smart Environmental Monitoring and Smart Cities. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore. He has 2 years of Industrial experience, 15 years of Teaching experience and 10 years of research experience in the field of sensor networks, AI and IoT applications. He has authored/co- authored more than 40 research articles in peer-reviewed national and internationally reputed Journals, Conferences and book chapters. He also has filed and published 3 Indian patents with 1 patent granted. He has received grants from Harvard Medical School and Boston Hospital Scheme, UK. He has recently received a project grant from MHRD, India under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) scheme for Technology development. He has reviewed many research articles in refereed journals such as IEEE transaction on Industrial electronics and IEEE/Springer conferences. He is also an active member of professional bodies such as the Institute of Engineers (IE) Groups, IEEE and ISTE chapter. He has delivered several Guest lectures in various Institutions across Tamil Nadu.
