Partho Pratim Seal
is Associate Professor at Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), a unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. He is involved in designing and developing educational curricula as per the academic standards for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He guides and assists faculty with instructional strategies. He is also actively involved in guiding culinary students in undergraduate and postgraduate research projects As an avid wordsmith who believes that writing is the most influential and resourceful medium to disseminate information has authored, four books Computers in Hotels: Concepts and Application, and Food & Beverage Management from Oxford University Press- India, How to Succeed in Hotel Management Job Interviews from JAICO India, and Food Anthropology in India from Routledge, London and authored several book chapters in international publication. His research interests are in Human Resource Management, Gastronomy, and Tourism. He has also published various research papers in Scopus-Indexed journals and is a reviewer of various international journals.
