Omar Shabeeb Al Amareen
Dr.
Amareen Omar Shabeeb
is an economist and academic with extensive international experience in economic planning, strategic management, and higher education. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics (Economic Planning) from Moscow in 1988, following master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the same field, with his doctorate formally evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. doctoral degree. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Dr. Shabeeb has held senior executive and consulting roles in international business, marketing, and human resource development across Russia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United States. Dr. Shabeeb has served as a faculty member at several universities, including Delmon University (Bahrain), Petra Private University (Jordan), and currently Westcliff University, Irvine, USA. His teaching portfolio covers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in economics, finance, management, quantitative methods, strategic management, and economic development. In addition to his academic work, he has contributed to national development initiatives, participated in Ministry of Planning studies, and designed and delivered specialized professional training programs for government and institutional stakeholders. His scholarly and professional contributions reflect a strong commitment to bridging economic theory, policy analysis, and practical management applications in diverse international contexts.
