Nur Şat

Nur Şat began her academic journey as a graduate of Public Administration from Dumlupınar University, followed by completing her master's degree with a thesis in Management Science at Sakarya University. She earned her Ph.D. from Marmara University's Institute of Social Sciences with her dissertation focusing on the relationships between e-democracy and e-municipality. Currently serving as a faculty member in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Hitit University, Dr. ŞAT enriched her academic experience in 2014 as a visiting researcher at the Center for Technology in Government, a prestigious research center for e-government studies in the United States. Throughout her academic career, she has authored numerous articles and book chapters, made significant contributions to the literature with an annotated translation of Wilson's seminal work “The Study of Administration,” and served as the editor of the book “Qualitative Research in Public Administration.” Dr ŞAT's areas of academic expertise and research interests encompass “Classics in Management Science,” “Local Administration,” “Digitalization in Public Administration,” “Bureaucracy,” “Technology and Participation,” and “Blockchain Technologies.” She continues to focus her research on digital transformation in public administration and the implementation of innovative technologies in governance, contributing to the advancement of these fields through her scholarly work and academic leadership.
