Ngoc- Tung Vu
Ngoc-Tung Vu
is currently a PhD Candidate while concurrently holding a position as a lecturer at University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University in Hanoi, Vietnam. Within the realm of intercultural communication in TESOL and Language Education, he has recently emerged as a prominent figure in Vietnam. His involvement in various capacities includes serving as the Review Co-Director of the VietTESOL International Convention for 2020-2021 and taking on the role of Proceedings Editor-in-Chief for the 2022 and 2023 conventions. Additionally, he has managed projects, notably the Vietnam Community of Practice, where he led a team of 10 individuals and served as the editor-in-chief of a book released in collaboration with Eliva in 2022. His contributions have been acknowledged through awards such as the SUNY Albany Best Teaching Award in 2020 and Research Award in 2021, recognition as a research figure by Vietnam National University for four consecutive years (2021-2024), acknowledgment by the University of Languages and International Studies in 2023 and 2024, and recognition by the Department of English in both 2020 and 2022. In terms of research outputs, he has edited one book and authored over 35 works, comprising high-quality journal articles, book chapters, newsletters, and media reports. His research focus centers on intercultural communication, incorporating diverse perspectives from school leaders, teachers, educators, employers, and learners.
