Natia Surmanidze
Natia Surmanidze
is an Associate Professor at Ilia State University and Co-Head of the Financial Accounting Department. She holds a PhD in Economics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her research focuses on institutional development, with particular emphasis on corporate social responsibility, sustainable finance, and socio-economic transformation in emerging economies. She is a member of the Women Researchers Council and a recipient of the Lane Kirkland Scholarship, where her research addressed female entrepreneurship. Dr. Surmanidze has participated in numerous international research projects and conferences and serves on editorial boards and academic committees. In addition to her academic work, she holds leadership experience in higher education, including roles in program management and quality assurance. Her work integrates finance, data analytics, and innovation in contemporary business environments.
