Nandan Chamanlal Pomal
Nandan C. Pomal
served as the Head of the Department of Science and Humanities at Tolani Foundation Gandhidham Polytechnic and is affiliated with Sigma University’s academic network in Vadodara. He holds strong expertise in nanotechnology, specializing in supramolecules, calix[4]pyrrole chemistry, and metal nanoparticles. His research includes designing functional nanomaterials—including silver and gold nanoparticle systems—for environmental and biomedical sensing applications. Dr. Pomal has authored several notable publications, such as the 2023 Applied Nanoscience study on palladium nanoparticles and the ChemistrySelect article on fluorescence sensing of fungicide dimoxystrobin, reflecting his ongoing contributions to sensor development and nanoscience innovations. As an educator and researcher associated with Sigma University, he is engaged in evolving areas of functional nanomaterials and supramolecular chemistry.
