Nafije K. Prishtina
Nafije Krasniqi Prishtina
is an Instructional Technology Specialist at the University of Central Florida’s Center for Distributed Learning. Her work focuses on inclusive course design, faculty development, and the integration of accessible technologies in digital learning environments. Drawing from her lived experience as a refugee and second-language learner, she applies autoethnographic inquiry to examine how technology mediates equity, identity, and belonging in education. She has designed and supported hundreds of online training courses, facilitated workshops on accessibility and instructional design, and presented at conferences on digital learning innovation. Nafije holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Instructional Design and Technology and is pursuing further research on equity-centered approaches to educational technology. Her professional mission is to empower learners and educators through accessible, human-centered design.
