is a mother and an emerging scholar from Ghana, West Africa. As a PhD student in international conflict management, her research centers on the healing from gender-based violence-related trauma among women from West African communities. Driven by a passion for trauma and resilience-informed research and practice, she has impacted marginalized families in Cobb County by collaborating with educators to implement an evidence-based, trauma-informed training and literacy-focused tutoring program. By examining the intersections of gender, conflict, and policy, she strives to produce research that supports marginalized communities and fosters a more equitable future for all.
